No I haven't gone to the "dark side", it's a friends vehicle (100 series).

Does anyone know the location of a grommit to get wires etc through the firewall?

Passengers side big grommet about 2 inches dia. Pull it out. Pull out the glove box lid. Shine a torch from the engine bay side. You will see the light. I slit the side of the ribbed extension of the grommet and fed wires through there ( tape it up afterwards for waterproofing.

Hi Trevor

Mike is correct and there is one on the drivers side as well. Just follow the bonnet cable through the firewall and rubber boot. If you do make an extra hole or slit make sure to seal it with silicone.

Regards

Derek.

ROFLMAO!!

He's only just bought it and starting to find out what a "money pit" this past-time really is.

I told him being a cruiser it will cost him a lot more than if he had got the right sort of vehicle in the 1st place of course!

Trev

PS, thanks to the others for their help
