Rated Tow weight on a Delica

My son is about to buy an imported Mitsibishi DELICA and is wondering if anyone knows the rated tow weight of the vehicle. He will be towing an off road trailer but is looking at upgrading to a more heavier unit(possibly an off road poptop) in the future. Any help would be appreciated. (I have checked the Pajeroclub forum and no luck)

Sorry Macca, can't give you an exact answer other then the Delicas sit on Pajero chassis.

Depending on the year model, check the tow rating for the same year Pajero and that should be it.

PS, I'm also considering the same thing.

Macca, yeah I would actually.

I too have done a fair bit of research, but a second opinion is always good.

I've been looking at both the earlier 2.5TD model, and the newer 2.8 IC TD. At this stage the newer one is looking the goods.
