Is anybody using Telstra's Next G broadband service with a Apple notebook? I didn't have much success with CDMA and the MiniMax modem and was wondering about trying the Next G network

Maxon have put out a Mac driver for the new NextG minimax. Still a few issues apparantly but it does work.

I had lots of problems with the ADSL MiniMax. It was so bad I eventually gave up on it and paid Telstra $500 for an early termination of contract—ouch!

Did you mean the CDMA Minimax? The green one? ADSL is fixed line based.
I belive the new NextG
orange one is better for macs. There is a discussion
forum at www.maxon.com.au that should give you the info you require.

Yep it's a typo i meant CDMA. I'll
check out the maxon
forum, though I am a bit gun-shy after my earlier experience :-)
Thanks
