I am going to
Cape york in august and on the way back I thought going threw
Normanton Clonncurry
Birdsville turn west to the corner.From there I need your knowledge.k 1 line south to
Warburton Crossing turn north 70klms turn right on public access track to
Innamincka could you please tell me what these tracks a like thankyou

G'day Silverback,
K1 Line is pretty good going as it runs parallel to the
sand dunes. The public access track from
Birdsville Track to
Innamincka is called
Walkers Crossing and it's a great way across to Innaminka. The scenery changes quiet a bit from rocky gibber country to flat sandy flood plains from the
Cooper Creek. An enjoyable track, but as always check road conditions as the time gets closer.

Found those tracks were mostly 2wd and fairly uninteresting from a driving point of view, but scenery can be nice. Its possible though in August that those tracks and Warbuton crossing might be closed due to rain , so I'd be checking when you get to
Birdsville .
