Woohoo! Just got a new '90 GQ. Can any one reccomend a good mechanic in the Caulfield -
St Kilda area who will be able to service my new toy???
I got an ARB pre-purchase inspection and was told that the clutch &
suspension are original factory fitted. I am planning a cross country trip in a couple of months and want to get the car up to speck.....
Thanks
Neil

Hi Rob. Its a 4.2l petrol with only 176,000km on the clock. The
suspension is a bit loose, you can feel the bumps but not too bad. I will want to put in something a bit better to handle the corrugations.
Also the gear shift is a bit clunky when changing. I presume this was what the guys at ARB were refering to when they told me about the aging clutch....

I know this may not be exactly in your area but Glenmount automotive in Mt Waverley is very good. Myself and 4 other guys from our club use him and could not be happier on service and price.
Hope this helps.
