I would like to fit a reliable voltmeter to my hilux. Can anyone reccomend a good one. Also how about a weatherproof one for my BMW motorbike

You can't go past a VDO for your Hiliux.

Hi Stuart,
You would have to try a marine
shop for a waterproof one but they are quite bulky.
The Hilux is easier. There are a few choices.

Most R model Bemers had voltmeters standard. Keep an eye on e-bay or ring some wreckers. The BM gauges are VDO made.

Have owned 4, one for over twenty years.
Unless they have changed you can't do better. You'll always know what your alternator/battery is doing.

Try the marine
shop for the VDO too.
Generally found marine shops have a good price on the VDO range, must have more turnover than the auto shops.
