Hi all,

How many dollars would I be expected to pay for an EGT gauge of some sort. I would prefer the 2 inch variety however I have been quoted a figure of around $600.00. Sound a bit much to me.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Angler, I have a Isspro post turbo EGT, colour coded, easy to check at a glance, bought via a mob in the states, about $90 US for the gauge, $40 US for the probe and lead kit about $20 US. Not sure who I got it thru, but can find out if you wish. I have a pic of my installion also. Hope this helps.

You could contact member Ian of www.thermoguard.com.au/

We didn't know about Ian's business when we had ours fitted by a Nissan workshop, but he has given us the best info on safe temperatures etc since then. The Nissan shop couldn't tell us anything, but asked if we could give them feedback of temp readings we got so they would know!
