What are the current charges for Fraser island. Barge Park, camping etc..?

Fee levels after 1 July 2006
Camping permit –
for a person 5 years or older taking part in an approved educational tour or
camp
– each night $ 2.50
for anyone else 5 years or older – each night $ 4.50
for a family – each night $18.00
• A family group is up to two adults and accompanying children under 18.
• Children under five are free.
Cost of camping permits booked in advance
• Camping permits obtained up to 30 June 2006 will continue to be charged at current rates, even if the camping dates are after 1 July 2006.
If you stay at commercial accommodation on Fraser Island the camping permit does not apply

well but one more thing that is needed, the vehicle access fee which is about $32.
