Hi All,
I'm looking for a
campsite in the Central Coast NSW area over the
Easter Period. All the National Parks are booked out (have to accommodate camper trailer). Any suggestions???
Thanks, Lyndi Lou

Watagan Mountain about 15min from Wyong, you can get a forestry map from central coast information which is on mann st. Gosford for a $5. there is about 5 official
camp spots there and numerous
unofficial ones.

Hi Kevern,
Thanks for your response, I've decided to get down there on the Thursday before
Easter - I've ordered a Forestry Map which should be in our mail box shortly. Really looking forward to it. Thanks.

I agree with Kevern - the Watagans are the go if you can get in there - and the
camp grounds are pretty big. The Watagans National
Park Camp site is not so big but if you have not tried its a nice one and fits a CT.
Otherwise, try to get to one of the Watagans State Forests ones on Thursday or 7 am Friday or something. Have you checked out Dharug NP on the Hawkesbury - bit further but lovely and probably booked out?
Happy searching -
camping at
Easter is magic, but you need to get there early if you cannot book.
