i know this has been spoken about before.. i own a 95 triton dual cab. had plans for a
suspension lift, bigger tyres but both are not worth the trouble after reading some useful replies. with this money, i am now thinking of getting a front diff lock. I have read about one called lok-rite (i think) and the arb air locker. for price, i cant see past lok-rite. i cant justify the air lockers. some of you might think otherwise but the price diff is massive.
if i have any change, i want to buy a
uhf radio. on a trip i was given a hand held but I think i am better off with an incar unit. can someone recomend something decent and affordable, including antenna. so far, i have been told to consider uniden, but no one has given me the model#. I dont have a bullbar so I might need to look at some other kind of mounting option.

i have electraphone UHF with a 'through glass antenna' cost $70.00 which means aerial wire sticks on inside off windscreen & no holes & antenna sticks on outside'

In my job I talk to and listen to many CBs on each job I do and every time I hear an incoming transmission that is distorted and hard to understand it is always a Uniden so go for GME Electrophone or Icom and your signal to listeners will be clear and audible. For Antenna mount use a Gutter Mount. and check this for Diff Locks
