There's info in the latest 4WD Monthly that the next biggest legal tyre size may be in the 33 inch range and big 35 inch Boggers etc may not be street legal anymore, as lawmakers are now attempting to bring about uniform rules all across the Oz.

So it's not the make for me anymore, Toyota or Nissan, don't care, does anyone know which 4WD:s come standard with at least 33 inch tyres, as indicated by the tyre placard?

It's only then when I would look at the actual vehicle, mileage, brand etc.

The law wasn't quite that at least in Vic

Rather than tyre placard ,it was worded as "biggest size fitted to a model in that vehicle range"

I.E. In GU patrol series , one model was once fitted with 245/85/16 (33in )nominal.

Proof of this is that its listed that cars handbook for the years to at least 2002.
(it was changed sometime after that).

As you were/are allowed to go this max size plus a little bit then the nominal 34 in but skinny 255/85/16 I run on my GU are legal.
