Hi all,

before I start... yes I probably am stupid... now that that's out of the way...

a few months ago I bought a bushranger maxair compressor in preparation for our first big trip in April/May this year. It may seem strange, but I have little need for a compressor in day to day life, so I haven't tried it before today.

Anyhow, the ride-on has a flat so I think.. you beaut, a chance to try out the compressor :) :( no go

Have I missed something or is it stuffed? You connect the cables to the battery (with correct polarity) with the engine running, you connect the compressor to the tyre. You turn the compressor on. Of course it might help if they printed on and off, instead of o and | but I did try it in both positions.

Any help/advice greatly appreciated... but please don't laugh too loud at me.. I'm delicate ... :)

Thanks in anticipation
David

sounds like you've done the basic things...

did you check the inline fuse that it has?

do you have the hose on it?

I usually turn it on, then connect it to the tyre, but it shouldn't matter.

Yeah, checked the fuse and luckily I kept (and could find) the receipt. Off to TJM this morning to see if they'll play nice.

Thanks to all for your help

Thanks guys for the advice. Mine was apparently stuffed, but the replacement goes bwwooooooommmmm... just like voxson's.

The bloke at TJM Maroochydore was great ... tried the old one, tried a new one, changed it over with no fuss and didn't even ask to see the receipt.

Cheers
