Some people will call later models 'HZ' even though it is 'HJZ' so you need to get a date of manufacture. It may not be that old.
Very reliable vehicles. Still need to have individual vehicle inspected by good mechanic for it's condition.

HJ75 ran from 1985 to end of 1989.
Engine is the 2H diesel (4litre) which are very reliable if regularly serviced but sluggish by todays standards (76Kw). They will cruise on the limit, but overtaking requires a long staight stretch of road. If you get tempted to add a Turbo, they can overheat and have reliability problems. Gearboxes are average, diffs are very good, and overall, they are close to bullet proof.
Suspension is leaf all round. They have power steering.
With any vehicle thats about 20 years old, a close inspection is needed. Anything could be wrong, and some repairs are quite expensive.
$15k is
well over market price, but that vehicle looks to have some quality extras, so the price is whatever its worth to you.

Hi Stephen,
No unfortunately, but any 4wd workshop should be able to do a reasonable inspection. The motoring groups are hit and miss at best.
