Still has big working stresses the same as any engine high speed or low speed doesn’t make a lick of difference.
We blew a High-pressure diesel fuel pump the other day on a $4,000,000 V20, pump at a guess is probably worth in excess of $80,000. The motor in question was bran spanker had 10-15 operational hours on it and was at 70% power when a con rod let go and punched a hole in the pump case.
