Batteries are batteries................choose a N70ZZL 17 plate.
I have a Yuasa/Century auxilliary battery and a Desert King main battery. I run a Rotronics MH10 battery isolator. Everything works OK. The Yuasa is 4 years old and working well. The Desert King is 12 months old.Cheers, Willem

I initially had a cheaper 17 plate main battery (Bestco or something like that). It lasted just past the 12 month warranty period, then died. Now I have a Yuasa main battery (3 years) and a Century marine auxillary (1 year old). I use a Jaycar isolator/charging system that came as a 'do your own soldering' kit. No problems so far.

Johnad, you after advice on a starter or deep cycle battery.
I use an Overlander starter which have been brilliant and an AC Delco for deep cycle, been through two Delcos in four years but that's probably my fault with lack of maintenance and storage in hot temps etc.

Yep.. The overlander is a great battery.........

I have boiled it so bad that the charge indicator has melted into the acid and it still gives me a start every time i turn the key...

I will replace it with another overlander before i leave on my trip this year..
