I've heard on the grape vine that the Alice may soon become a "dry town".

If this the case, can somebody provide me with directions to a parellel universe please (even a non bull tish planet would suffice).

Regards

Kim

When they say dry town they mean no alcohol to be consumed in public park streets etc.
Port Augusta has been a dry town for a while.
Cheers Steve.

its a dry town anyway. your not allowed to drink in public within 2km of a place that sells grog. which means nowhere in town.

Aren't most places dry these days, Geelong certainly is but If I want to a civil family bbq on common property with a few beers the cops have no problem.

The bloke you refer to is a bit unreliable. I'm a Todd River person!

Hope to catch up with you guys mid this year on my way through.

I'm going to Alice Springs this week for a golfing/work junket....I hope it doesn't become a dry town before the end of next week otherwise we will be knackered. I think we set some Carona consumption records there this time last year....
