Whatever Doug.
When manufacturers commission vehicles they have people called designers and people called marketers. These people try to come up with a vehicle that is visually appealing. Often as not, engineering takes a back
seat to the looks of a vehicle. So here we have Dodge coming up with a vehicle that is not visually appealing to me. Full stop.
Whether or not it turns out to be good, bad or otherwise doesn't matter to me any more because I would not buy one based on the looks alone. That is my right. No different from a person buying an Aston Martin rather than a Ferrari purely on the basis that they like the look of the Aston Martin more. (See last week's edition of Top Gear. Both drivers said the Ferrari was a better vehicle, and both said they'd rather have the Aston.)
In any marketplace the seller takes a punt that their product will appeal to their prospective customers. If it doesn't, then it's goodnight nurse.
Fortunately there are vehicles out there that both look good and function as
well. I promise I'll take more interest in them, but Dodge lost me right at the first glance.
Btw, which way are you going with those loads? I'm going to Wagerup tomorrow and I'd rather not get stuck behind you.
