The "Sort option" and "
Forum option" are held in a "cookie" on your computer, if you execute the "clear cookies" option in your web browser you will need to reset the
forum options - if you wish to change the defaults.

At the top of the page is an option "Sort by Post ID" or "Sort by Response Time"
If you sort by Response time it keeps all the latest posts and responses at the top of the page, which means the posts keep moving ;-)
