Hi Suepajero

Yes my HR was a smidge too big as well.

Attacked it with a smidge remover, just past a beesdick and not quite a tad and walah, in it went.

Unless mating HR hitch to HR towbar, a common problem and remedy I believe.

Cheers

I've heard the same as KK. I have the genuine Toyota bar on my 4wd and it was supposed to have the same problems. I just bought the HR and it went straight in. No KY needed!

The advantage of the HR is that the bar is solid, unlike the standard HR gooseneck.

I was told a poofteenth as opposed to a smidge ;-)

The moral of all this is not to purchase a "genuine" product but insist on a HR bar - particularly if the vehicle is a Disco 3 or Pathfinder

Had the same problem when fitting to a standard Toyota bar. The fitter trimmed the corners and it fitted perfectly. Had it for the last 5 years without a problem.
