Member - Willie , Epping .Syd.

I'm off tomorrow on an excursion to see these two places south west of Alice Springs and hopefully to see some great rock art in the area .

Anyone actually been to either of these spots named by Ernest Giles ?

Willie, there was some discussion here on those places here last year. Maybe you initiated it. Equinox has been through some of that country. It lies to the west of Kings Canyon and not too far from where we turened north last year.

See you Sunday and will discuss something that came up today re the area we were in last year.

Looking at the map I would hazard a gues that one would have to leave the Mereenie Road before Morris Pass heading north and then travel due west for about 10Km cross country. Should be a sandy. There seems to be a few dry creeks in the area and some rocky ledges

Sounds like an adventure

Ahh I just re read your post LOL Didn't know you were going there. Thought you were going elswhere. Thats good. Yeah and was talking about Vale of Tempe.
