A week or 2 ago somebody put up a post with a link to a clip of a Bugatti doing 407k/h.
I typed in "bugatti" into the search engine on here, but only came up with an old, archived post.
Does anybody know what the post number etc was?
Thanks
Roachie

No can't help with that.
The Bugatti Veyron was featured on Top Gear (SBS) and was a project to get a 1000 HP car on the road. Try Site Link

Thanks everybody.....I'd seen it before, but just wanted to prove to my boys that a "normal" car could go faster than a F1 car........

I saw the topgear show.

At full noise it can drain it's entire fuel tank in 12minutes.

even has a guage on the dash that tells you how many hp you are using at that point in time.

Very cool car

I guess if you can afford 850,000 english quid for one of these (over AUD$2,000,000-), I guess you could afford to slip into ARB and get them to knock up a Long Range Tank so you can get from Port Augusta to Birdsville in about 3 hours......... hahaha
Jeez, I'd love one of those gauges on the dash to tell me how many hp I am using. Nah, on 2nd thoughts I've sworn off having a huge number of gauges on this new truck.....

What was it they said on Top Gear?

"It has 10 radiators and was built as an experiment by Volkswagen, who own the Bugatti name, at a cost of 1 Million pounds EACH!!"

As Jeremy Clarkson said about his drive of the thing," My biggest regret in life is that I'll never own THAT car!" :(

Yes BUT- has the Bugatti been driven to 407kph, or is that just the THEORETICAL speed.
The F1 speed record (set by Honda at Bonneville) is 397.360kph ACTUAL.
