If your assumption is right then it is not a good idea to take an old pop top on the Tanami Road. Although it will be of a stronger build than modern-day vans, it might still shake to pieces over 1000km of corrugations

Hi Willem and all
We are aware of how rough it can get but the old van has seen it's fair share of corrugations and is pretty tough.We carry plenty of pop rivets screws etc
it's really just a roof over our heads and somewhere to be dry when it rains.
We'll give it a go and let you know the result.
