Just a quick one for anyone thats been along the
Holland Track recently.
Providing it doesnt rain is it ok to take CT on the track? Have heard different stories from Yes to No witha few maybe's.
Thanks
Ian

Hi Ian,
I took my Windsor Rapid along the
Holland track a few years back. BIG MISTAKE. Managed to remove every indicator, clip, antenae etc... along both sides, along with the roll-out awning. Problem was its simply too big to snake around the trees on the relatively tight track, nothing to do with traction.
But a true camper trailer (not a Jayco type - still too big) will do this track in its stride. The
Holland Track was the defining moment in my decision to sell the Windsor and get my Camprite. I would not hesittate to take my Camprite along this track.
Cheers
Captain

Hi Ian,
I agree with Captain. The only issue with towing a camper on the
Holland track is the narrow winding track. I towed our camper over the track a couple of years ago with no problems. The camper is slightly wider then our Rodeo, and the only problem was a few scratches which is par for the course on a narrow track. However the whole ball game changes if it has been raining, but I'm sure you already realise that. Enjoy the trip and soak up the history.

Hi Noldi
Dave here (from you know where) :)
I recently done the
Holland Track only a couple of weeks ago on the long weekend.
It would be perfectly fine with your camper trailer, so long you don't go too fast like some people I saw.... the track is fairly wide enough for most vehicles except f250's !!
Few water crossings and mud sections you have to go through, it's not too bad but make sure you do take some recovery equipment, kangaroo jack or one of those exhaust jacks at least (or better yet a hand winch) if you are going by yourself. It can become tricky and only 3-4 weeks ago or so when I went, it was fairly muddy and plenty of water out there!
Good luck and Enjoy!
