Went to Wedge on the weekend and had the most insane white knuckle ride down the beach in a friends buggy.
He has taken a 1 tonner chassis, removed the cab, customized a roll cage and bolted in a heavily worked Cleveland 351 with not one but TWO subaru turbos on it. A twin turbo 351...
He gave this thing a quick squirt up the beach in third gear and I thought my face was going to peel off.. it was powersliding down the beach at +100km/hr

Has anyone experienced a buggy that could top this? How many others out there have too much spare time on their hands???

We used to have a crappy old VW beach buggy as kids, went great, nothing like this beast though.

If possible please post some photo's.

Know of a baja bug with a worked WRX motor in it.
Another baja bug with a 2.5l V6 in the back, it only puts out 160kw compared to the WRX engined one.
Both weigh sub 800kg. Like a commodore with 350/400 kw.

Best I know is a trike (300kg?) with a worked VW motor - about 150 to 160kw.
(Twin turbo 2.5l)
Wheel stands in 1,2 & 3.

All good fun.

If it's built like you say That thing would be putting out 600HP bleep easy, Thought the WRX Turbo’s would be a bit small for a worked 351Ci but

They are only running at 3psi, so not really running to potential, but even as they are its a pretty exhilarating ride.
