Travelling in a group of 6 4x4's at the end of June for 3 weeks and was wondering if you would need to book at any of the caravan parks enroute........ ie;
Boulia, Kings Canyon, Tobermery,
Birdsville,
Wilpena Pound etc ???

Hi, Don't know about the rest but King's Canyon is huge so I really doubt it.

you don't mention what sort of accommodation you are after, are you towing campers/vans, are you after cabins or tent sites????

Sorry, but 2 are towing off road pop tops and 4 are towing CT's and presume powered sites will be the go if they are available .,..

If you are looking for powered sites at that time of the year and with a group of that size, it would be wise to book.

Boulia CP seems to fill up fairly early. The manager doesn't like you leaving after 10 am either.
