Court orders recall of vehicle jack
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is asking people with a particular high lift vehicle jack to return it to the
shop they bought it from.

Copied from ABC news website:
The Federal Court has ordered a nationwide recall of a product called the Black Rat Power Lifter.
The commission's Derek Farrell says the jack failed independent testing.
"The testing revealed that it doesn't lift the weight that it purports to be able to lift," he said.
"The lifting head cracks and fails and the handle bends such that the jack is unserviceable.
"The company purports that this jack is good for if you're in trouble in the bush, but we're very concerned that people will rely on the jack and that it will fail for them."

It's the importer who is responsible ! They know that they must select &
test a product carefully before they market it. Who made the English language advertising ?
You will have a VERY hard job finding any 4wd equipment that is totaly made in Australia.
