Would someone be able to tell me where to attach the Relay activation wire when fitting
driving lights to a 2005 Suzuki Grand Vitara. When I put a test light on the high beam side of the headlights it is live all the time. It appears to be an earth wastage system. When I test the plug behind the dip switch it makes the lights come on when the switch is not activated.

I had a Daihatsu Van a few years ago, The switch actually connected the currant to earth , so yes the wiring was live on the way to earth , tricky situation,

Is this method of wiring otherwise referred to as 'Negatively Switched'?
If so there is a wiring diagram posted up by I think it was Drivesafe of what you require. Post ID 24339 I think should help.
Apologies if it's not Negatively switched you're after.
