Interesting to read about the tyre size , On my Troopy I just went from 265/75R16's to 265/70R16's but mine is on 8" wheels,and I reackon the the car feels better on the road and the Engine feels as if it has just a teeny weeny bit more go in it

That’s cause the tyres diameter is now smaller so the engine doesn’t need to work as hard to turn it.

Really it just does the opposite of going up in tyre size

Yeh I realise that, I had 15" wheels on it until 2003 when I went 16" , I found that with the sign on the roof , head wind, the old girl was pushing to keep ahead of 600hp Cats,
