Shock absorber bushes

Just in the process of fitting new shocks - should urethane bushes be lubricated and if so with what?

hi we grease all bushes with nulon red grease ,its a high melting point and is very very sticky ,we use it on all our farm vehicles and stuff ,its the only one we use

I use the black moly grease because its what ARB suggest in their greasable shackles with poly bushes. But I have to admit that for shocks, I usually keep the Toyota rubber bushes, and put the poly ones away as spares. The factory rubber bushes tend to ride better, and last OK.

Urethane bushes squeak on paint work - try Silicone spray all over before fitting.
