Ok, I'm in for a little healthy debate, but if you need to resort personal attacks then maybe you're not.
Yes, you may say I am one eyed I do have a soft spot for Toyota and yes I will most times back them over anything else. That is because I have been there and seen guys in their crappy little toy 4x4's break down and cry when their state of the art toasters can't do what a basic run of the mill Toyota can do with its eyes closed (or a patch).
In the interest of healthy debate compare the two pictures. A landcruiser the ultimate weapon: The history and
heritage that built a country. A manufacturer that knows how to build a rugged car that can handle most conditions. Just take a look what you are comparing it to. I believe you have defeated your own argument when talking about the clearance. You have had to resort to a picture of a real 6 wheeler that can do the job. Can you see from the picture how much clearance and articulation that Citroen will have (or more likely won't have). The LC you pictured doesn't even have mud guards to allow for the awesome wheel travel.
By Citroen's own admission this crappy looking
orange M&M is "based on Citroen's first ever SUV." Doesn't give me much hope in them getting it right.
Usually when a company shows a prototype they show it beefed up far beyond what it is going to be. If this
orange M&M is tarred by the same brush then it will come off the production line at Ryton in the West Midlands looking like a Citroen C2 with haemorrhoids. (And yes I know about Citroen's awesome Rally history...rally not 4x4)
Yes you may be right, it may be a real killer of a machine but just look at the pics they don't do it justice if it is. The departure angle is great but look at the approach. You may be onto something, and I may be totally wrong, I will cop it if I am. I just think that if you have so much faith in this
orange M&M then you should maybe pre order one.
After seeing your rig profile, I can see that you are really just arguing for the sake of arguing, you already have the package and I can't see why someone with a rig like that would be defending a candy cane vehicle such as this.
