Hi
Just wondering how many troopy owner out there carry boats on there roofs and what works best for them. We haven't bought the tinny yet. We have a full length ARB roof rack and were thinking of puttting a rihno boat loader system on top of the rack. Height could become a problem though?.
Thanks Lyndon & Bernadette

Yes it will make it very high.

Check out the Custom Boat Loaders advertised on here under 'Directory'. I have one of these and it makes the load and unload very easy and a 1 person job.

Hi Lyndon,

I had a height issue on the Nissan and got a custom job. Email me if you want to know more.

Kind regards

Good evening Lyndon,

I have a 75series Troopy and have just fitted a Rhino roof rack and boat loader.

Boat is a Stacer Dart, only a small one but fits on the rack without problems.

Outboard motor will probably sit inside the Troopy, but location is open to discussion at the moment.........

Have not been anyway in anger as we speak but getting ready to go!!!!!

Height,,,,,yes but drive to the conditions, and I do not see it being a real problem.

If I can help more give me a shout,

Cheers
Michael

Have a look at www.customboatloaders.com.au/ under models - there's a photo of a Troopie with a 3.75m dinghy.
