It is the TomTom One which is a very good value for money unit but for some reason they have several prices for this unit and they look slightly different. Possibly old stock?
I recently payed that for a Navman F20 with external Aerial delivered but the TomTom One is a little better.....

I just bought an IPAC 5765 for $650 which includes the Tom Tom software, car mount, car power cord. It is also a full blown PDA that will run OziExplorer CE.
The Tom Tom navigator is accurate and good and you can run both it and Ozi at the same time and have Ozi on the screen with the TT voice prompts as
well.
Neat unit.

Peter
I am interested in the exact same unit so it is good to hear your
feedback.
Have you used any of the other PDA functions. I want it for as both a PDA & GPS Navigator.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I use it for work and it links into my desktop calendar and email programs. I also run a bunch of spreadsheets and other documents which are updated between my laptop and the PDA when I sync it. It seems to be a good unit and I like the screen size. I was impressed with the accessories that came with it - there was nothing extra to buy.
The only problem I had with it is that the Tom Tom software is not in ROM and I accidentally deleted the maps and it had to go back to HP to have them reinstalled.
Regards
Pete

Price is good but probably because there is a new version out. Mounts are normally tom toms weak point and no text to speach(wont read out street names)
Cheers

Hi,
The Dick Smith site lists it as the Tom Tom V2, so it's nearly $100 cheaper than Ryda with the cashback ($449 vs $534.95).
Cheers,
Alastair

Text to speech they call it ie; it will say like take the next left, where as text to speech will say; turn left onto "street name". Most of them also read text messages and audio books.
I have been reseaching them for way to long and still cant pick one lol

Tomtom 6 is great in the city and in my opinion better than the Navman software having now used both. Using Tomtom however, I had it on to navigate to Collector NSW and it wanted to take me on road that petered out onto private property.

Didn't stop long enough to enjoy any refreshments as we were headed for
Old Adaminaby. Not much of that left. :(
Maybe next time.
