Placing way points Automatically ?

Hi all, I am using Map-send with explorer xl and have been making way point routes on notebook manually, then uploading to gps. My question is ,is there a way to make a route and the way points be added automatically , maybe with some other software (OziExplorer) ? have not used this software yet. Cheers
