Hi,
I am interesting on buying a Land Cruiser HJ 61 Turbo Diesel, can anybody tell me what to be aware of and fuel consumption ?

Hello Pelesino,
11-13L/100k hwy, 16L/100k city (approx). Look for rust, take someone with you that knows the vehicles
well as the rust may have been patched up etc.

Look for rust in the roof line along the gutters. Apparently starts inside due to condensation. Have seen some with the roof nearly off and bogged up to sell.

G'day Pelesino, best I have got out of
mine was just over 10 l /100K but that was over 500kms at about 80 - 85 Kph.
I agree with the other figures there,but I have never got as much as 16 l / 100 K.
I guess it depends how fast you go. I usually travel at around 100Kph.
Hell, I am on holidays, why go like stink?
I also agree with the problems with rust in the roof. Take a magnet with you!
Bloody great car though.
