is it the Novogo T700 or the V30, I just had a look at it and the specs, It probably would be a good buy if your only useing it in Cities and Towns, Get the shop to start it so you can see what the maps are like in the outback , Also it.s best to buty a unit where you get a mapping software CD with it as with some of the Garmin units , then you can have it on the PC so you can add Waypoints, Tracks, etc
Check some of the Garmins here

Hi Doug

The one I'm referring to is the one in the explore-oz shop.

Just had a look at it , I am a strict Garmin man myself but I read the specs and yes it is a good unit , good for a first GPS unit as well and the price is very good, I would say to you if David thinks it worth while to have on this website then mate ...go for it .

Hi Peter
I'd like to know more about its unsual ability to save and load your own tracks.

This is a feature I like in my Garmins , and lack of has made me stay away from these turn by turn things before.

(Other than the Ral Angel - which is in the bin - but then it was a freebie)

Hi Peter,
If you want further information about this product please send me an email. This is a very new product and was highly recommended to us from our supplier so as yet I have not got any feedback. But I can certainly ask our supplier for any feedback he has had so far if you would like?
