Could someone confirm the specs. for the rear diif. 1994 HZJ75 series Troopy.
Is it a 9.5 " 32 spline?? Gotta replace the air locker O rings and the right parts would help.
Thanks

I take it your not getting the "O" rings for ARB. If you are just state the model and year, and they should be able to look the parts up.

I think from memory the "O" are the same Part No, for both size bearings.

Hi Tony
I have contacted 3 ARB outlets (incl. HO Moorebank)- and have got 3 different answers as to what should be installed (RD23 & RD33 & RD64) so I really don't want to have the diff. out and find the parts aren't correct.
Some of the people on the other end of the phone sound like the rejects from Dick Smith- referred to in a previous post !!

Mate, if your going to do the work yourself, take measurements of id/od, and guide thickness into ses bearings and get 2 orings viton (red) for $3 the pair...and most importantly, always use lsd oil in it, because this oil has friction modifiers that help the orings stay alive.
rd23 is front i believe, rd33 is rear, 64 is 100 series...your rear difff is identical to an 80 series rear...

Hi Dozer
Are you suggesting we use LSD oil in the diffs.?? I have lockers F&R..
Thanks for the info on the locker kit..I narrowed it down to the RD33..
Have you done an air locker overhaul?? The reason I think it need the O rings replaced is: I turn the compressor on- builds up pressure and switches off- engage the diff, solenoid clicks in- compressor starts up and keeps running- there is air coming out of the diff breather.
Thanks for your info

Either the seals are gone or the bearings have play and seals are gone....lsd helps the orings live longer...and it is a better quality oil,
