Minyon Falls
campsite about 10km behind Byron in the
State Forest. The
campsite is actually quite plain but the area is nice and there is a big waterfall nearby when the water is flowing and a few walks. Not really within walking distance if that is what you were hoping for.

the
camp site at broken head is pretty commercial . But it gives great access to the four or five quiet beaches just up the road. watch what you leave in your car when you go to the beaches though. some of them are a bit of a walk so your car is a prime theft target. Ive also stayed at the belongel fields on the way out of Byron bay. This is a massive
camp site with minimal ammenities. but if its a quiet time of the year you will have plenty of space to your self.

We"ve stayed a couple of times at Clarks beach caravan park, it's right on the beach which you can walk along to get to town, saves
parking hassles in town. It does get busy so you may want to book ahead.
