Does anyone from SA know of where I can purchase Mobile Delvac 1in South Australia for a decent price? I can go all the way out to Wingfield -
Roto Oil (from south of the city) and get it for $80 for 5L, or $265 for 20L but it seems interestaters can pick it up from local stores for $60-65L (5L) Repco will get a 20L drum in for about $300! Interstate a 20L seems to be about $200 - $220. The trip to Wingfield will also add about $15 in fuel bill to the total cost too!
All help appreciated

Heck...sorry mate for not getting in here earlier, but a mate of
mine has 2 x 20litres of
Mobil Delvac MX Multigrade 15w 40 left over from a previous vehicle.
If you or anyone is interested then give Shine a ring in
Adelaide 08 82655363.
He's a very obliging bloke .
Goodluck........Cheers

Thanks Ole Grizzly for thinking of me, but it's not oil I'm after, the Delvac 1 is a 5w40 grade, and the TD Jackaroo is a very finicky motor - probably wouldn't start int the cold with a 15W. Thanks for the thought though.

D-Jack,
I used to work at a
Mobil site in the Southern Suburbs (
Adelaide) If you go to your local
Mobil Dealer, ask the question and see if they will ring and get you a price. Then you can see if it is worth the drive to Wingfield or not. I know the site I worked at would do that (I was the Manager). Its worth a try, if you don't ask you wont know.
Regards
Debbie
