Hi All
Just wondering if anyone has been to the 4wd show which started today, and if it was any good this year. I was planning on heading down there on sunday to
check it out. They advertise live
rock crawling which could be good.

Nope no good.
Well I didn't think so anyway.
Calling it
rock crawling is a bit of a stretch. Its just a large pyramid shaped block of concrete with a flat spot on top that the buggies pretty much drive straight over although today one bloke came off the top a little quick and flipped over the hood losing a wheel in the process. That was deifinately the best part of the show.
Items I checked the price on were not competitive eg nightstaker
driving lights $145.00 that you can get at supercheap for $99 on a special day. Waeco bag for CF80 cheaper though $189 instaed of $199.
No where near as big as last year very few campers and a lot of the big names Kimberly, Odyessy etc not even there. Some of the areas used in last years show had a tool expo going on.

Hi Batboy.
I reckon this show has been getting worse over the past 2 years.I checked the list of exibitors & they are definitely down on last year.
I believe the caravan, camping 4wd & holiday show is better value.

Hi Batboy.
The show is on at
Brisbane 6th to 12th June.
Last year it was definitely better than the show on this weekend.At least the caravan, camping & 4wd show uses all the exhibition buildings, not like this show.
