Just driving home from work a few moments ago and the ABC announcer then starts interviewing Willem's wife Judith live on the radio regarding the Peterborough Art Show on for the next week. I didn't here the bloke shuffling around in the background though.

Yeah I may be old but not as old as Dexic or Roachhead. And some of us have to work Sundays to keep the rest of you safe. So I can't come to Lake Littra, but say hello to the frogs for me.

Thanks for the free advertising Uncle Donut. Judith had a good laugh at the thread.

Yep we had the opening of the Peterborough Art Prize week last night were graced by none other than the man from Vivid Adventures and his mate from the USA. They stayed over here at our place and made an early start to who knows where.

Any forumites passing through Peterborough must drop in to the Town Hall on Main Street and say G'day( 'an bring yer chequebook with ya...lol' ) and have a cuppa.

You forget how I became famous Uncle,..... when my last truck 'Rosie' appeared on TV for being at the wrong place at the right time....lol

Cheers

I see that the Railway Museum in town is closing down? That would be a shame.

Well is it said, that Willem and Judith's hospitalitary if the stuff legends are made of. Thanks Willem and Judith (and Jeddah).

Their efforts in conceiving and leading community activities like the art prize are inspirational - the show itself is a wonderful witness to their energy and creativity - both artistically, and in sheer hard work.

Peterborough is lucky to have them, even though it was an accident, although Jeddah has kicked Willie out of the house so he now has a bed permanently installed in the Patrol.

My friend from Washington had a great time, although this morning was pretty cool and a bit drizzly ...

Cheers
Andrew who finds Willem's off-the-wall habits... I mean habit of marking his tracks on the bedroom wall... on a map there anyway, rather amazing - hardly a place he ain't been.

Truckster

Thats an amazing bit of misleading information.

It is pity that the writer of the original story as published in the locval aper this week, did not do as bit of research on the matter to gleam some thruth instead of relying on town gossip and innuendo.

The Railway Museum is in fact expending its operation having received a grant of $250,000 and will very soon be in full swing. Some of thew duplicated stock are being sold off to buy other stock pertinent to the Peterborough Railway History.

I will put my own rant to The Station Master shortly.

Cheers
