just in time for easter if anyone wishes to travel through the kimberley (and parts of the pilbara) over the next few weeks make sure your car trailer is attached securely to your boat - it's the only way you'll get around...........many many many 100s of mm rain last couple of weeks - roads closed all over the place - who said there's a drought. rgds

Would that be because the wet season is between October to May.

Here at Telfer they have had over 400mm of rain in the last month. It is raining now. if it doesnt stop soon Beer will start to run out as the trucks cant get through. Outgoing Jets are going via Newman to refuel

Yes, we have just 5 weeks to go until the beginning of our Kimberley trip (departing Alice). We arrive in Halls Ck May 11 and head along the GRR for a further 18 days. I am keeping a pretty close eye on things and hoping conditions change soon.
