bloody disgusted is an understatement, coming back from Melbourne Friday night felt a bit tired about Kneil so pulled into the the truck stop about 15 ks on the Adelaide side for a sleep. It was about midnight when i stopped and the truck stop was empty, i woke up about 2am and noticed three trucks had stopped also. one right up behind me,I went back to sleep. anyway i woke about six and noticed they had all moved on. didn't think much of it then, i got out of the car for a walk around to check the trailer before moving on and noticed a heap of white stuff where the truck was behind me.I walked over to see what it was, and to my amazement it was sh@t yes sh@t. the dirty bast@$d had sh@t beside his truck on the ground in the middle of the truck stop. there must have been a whole roll of paper, coke cans and other rubbish as well. He must have cleaned his truck out onto the ground. what makes me made is the council's carry on about caravans and campers how about cracking down on these pigs.

Sounds to me like he left the most intelligent part of himself behind!!

Geoff,

Grey hair is hereditary, you get it from children. Baldness is caused by watching the Wallabies.

A lot of the truckies can't even be bothered to walk over to flushing dunnies if provided. Was talking to one of the cleaners attending to one of the facilities along the Hume. He said they just drop their load where they stop - can't be bothered to walk.

to me its about your self respect, if this is how they treat themselves then how do they treat their trucks and what kind of drivers are they.

No your partly wrong there , They don't do that at home , because then they would have to clean it , and how they treat their trucks and what kind of drivers they are is irrevalent, the best operator in the country could be the worst pig

As an Ex Truckie but still involved in Transport I know exactly what you mean , Now the thing is the culprits are few , those few tarnish the rest, and thats same for all .
I stepped on 1 once , maybe they are scared of the dark, Now I have been to roadhouses where the toilets are locked because tourists foul up the showers , so what do you do ??? BIG PENALTIES not pi$$y little ones handed out by soft judges , and boy do I mean big , $1000 for a cig' butt on the sidewalk , 2nd offence 6 months ,

I agree with you but my problem is with all the crap going on about the caravans and campers in these stops and caravan parks doing there best to stop travelers using them i think there should be a more realistic attempt to fix the problem at the roots not from the ever emptying pockets of caravan parks and councils.
