EO member changing in cab bulb.
Point 2
or
1 of the 14

Changing bulb in cabin of Lux to 'ubute LED', I managed to stuff one end in behind tab and shorted 2 of 4 LED's in ubute LED.
Persistance and risk of failure saw me tear one end off ubute, now stuck behind tab.
Next day in daylight I retreived end cap, sit back onto ubute and make doubly sure that both bulbs are of same length, of course they are.

WOT THE?
Now the stereo's not working but everything else is OK.
I will advise of the outcome when I come to a conclusion of how I could have done the job differently.

In the meantime,

get on with your life............

Penguin,

Did you mean incandescent lightbulb, or compact fluoro,or maybe edison screw, or bayonet?

We won't have to worry about incandescents soon, the government thinks they are going to ban them.

Got a good laugh out of this Post of Penguin's - he's very clever, and spot on. Say, Bob Y, we intend being near your place from the last few days of May for about 10 days, then going on to Birdsville - visitors are going to Winton, Boulia and down to Birdsville. Give us a chance to chip the weeds from the front yard and clean Big Red out of the House. Guess we'll see you for a fish dinner at our place? We'll be the ones with the cappuccino machine in the camper trailer! You think I'd joke about something as serious as that? Say, what's the river level?

Hello Ruth,

How's things? Good to hear from you, have wondered if you were down in the sandy country yet.

Sounds good that you are to visit, few of the flies may have gone by then.

River is still trickling here, dropped away from around a metre or more here, late last week. Don't think there is likely to be a fresh in it now. We pagan souls here on the middle reaches of this mighty flow, copped bugger all flood, so are to do penance this year, I'd say.

Promise of a fish dinner sounds good, and I'll have a long black in a mug, thanks.

Expecting Big Kidz here in June, we have a new, elevated camping site that has enticed them back again. They're off to NT again.

Cheerio,
Bob

Have never had to change the light bulb in my Waeco so the whole post is totally inappropriate and an aspersion on the collective intelligence of the forum , we all know that to change a light bulb we must use a licensed electrician lest we be accused of not following the correct workplace health and safety procedures for such an arduous task LOL.
