I am considering purchasing a 23' Jayco Sterling. I am interested to know if anyone has purchased the option to convert the dinette into an extra bed. Would appreciate any comments you might have. I can't find anything specific about this option on the Jayco website or the brochure.

G'day Montereykeys
We had this done in our Destiny, probably the same, makes for a small double bed. We use it for our Two year old, I have slept there with him and it quite comfortable. You will lose the fluffy cushion, replaced with square edged one. I don't think it cost very much.

Hi, we had a bed conversion done on a small Jayco pop top for daughter and what we did was turn the cushions upside down so you use the flat side then we placed an egg carton foam overlay over the top. I made like a pillowcase for this out of an old sheet so that was the bottomsheet when we werent using it just rolled it up and tied a piece of tape around worked fine exept now she is in a swag outside doung the country bit like on McLeods Daughters Barb
