Who in their right mind would want to go fishing at
Kingston on Murray.
I was talking to a contractor yesterday who caught 2 nice legal cod (1 at 15lb) last Tuesday until he got a triple hook in two fingers and had nothing to get them out. Damned whoos. Had to go to Dr to get it out.

Hi Bob&Deb
If you have a 4x4 you cant beat Salt Creek though it will be buisy. i'd fish a pilly on gang hook setup. Its a huge beach down there so you just find a gutter sit back and enjoy.
Other than that, any of the jettys down there should get you something for the table,
Failing that the
Kingston pub dose a good feed!

Bob and Deb
Head back toward
Adelaide, enter
the beach at a place called
the Granites, about 20ks out, from there with a 4x4 you can drive a long way along th beach. It starts off fairly flat but gets steeper and softer (and harder to drive). You will come across the 28 mile crossing entrance to
the beach (28
miles from
Kingston) Around there there are some good gutters for
Mulloway (bit late in season now though), Salmon,
sharks, rays,
mullet, salmon trout, the occasional late night 15lb snapper and some possible bream/flathead.
If you don't have a 4x4, the first section is very doable in a conventional vehicle (very flat/hard), but
the beach is shallower. They still get
Mulloway (in the right season),
mullet, bream, salmon trout, flathead.
Other than that, the jetty is very good usually for squid, salmon trout, trevally, and garfish/tommies. Don't be put off by strong winds for the gar - they love it, just sail a float out with berley and chances are you'll get into some rippers.
Hope this helps
D-Jack
