The server system was failing - ran out of disk space for some reason. With over 200GB of drives it is strange however it appears something went wrong in the O/S that caused the machine to create GB's of logs that were not cleaned out fast enough. All is good now and things will get back to normal shortly.

asking about a server problem by posting? Isn't that a little like Telstra calling you by phone to ask about your broken phone? lol
