Hi all,
I have a 2001 100 series, std diesel wagon. Lately I have noticed an annoying noise on the upper left (passenger)side of the front windscreen. Definitely an "air" noise. occurs at 90+ kph. sounds kind of "deep" like a buffeting noise, almost like you get when you roll a window down 1/2 way at 100k's. Have checked everything exterior( roofrack rubbers, windscreen rubber) but everything looks normal.... anyone had similar noises??? any help much appreciated..
Jarrod.

Jarrod, I think I have the answer, same thing happened to me!
Have a look inside the channels either side of the windscreen (outside) and check that all the rivets are there. If the windscreen has been replaced, the slackers dont put all the rivets back!!
When it happened to me (I had only just bought the cruiser) it was on the drivers side and I was blaming the
snorkel. I went through a lot of hassels before I discovered the missing rivets. You wouldn't believe the turbulence a single missing rivet can cause. Wind must get into the cavity and swirl around.
Good luck!
