Thou you have to use the sign posted flood bypass road around Eyre Creek which adds about 60kms to the trip and the Desert Parks Bulletin tell me the
Warburton Crossing is still shut and they also say that there is more water expected to arrive so it could be closed at any time for more info call 1800816078

The Eyre Creek bypass is the best part of the trip. Goonamillera
Waterhole is a nice spot.

I see also that on the Transport SA website the cordillo route is open for the first time in weeks (?) as of yesterday afternoon. JD
