Folks, we are doing some research into what is the best camper to do the kimberleys and in the process have become totally confused with all the sellers hype, having said that we like the "complete
campsite nomad extreme". does anyone have any experience with this brand good or bad. Thanks....Wayne

If you're going to the Kimberleys, why wouldn't you buy a
Kimberley Kamper?
Just kidding. We do have a KK and we think it's the duck's guts. We got the marine pack, so we can carry a 10' dinghy and a small outboard. We can carry a reasonable amount of gear on the roof rack, under the boat. The KK is as tough as nails - the Kimberleys won't break it. Everything is laid out
well. It has a hard floor, which is the roof of the camper when it's packed away. You can get the wheels on it to match those of the towing vehicle etc etc...
Look up their website
Kimberley Kampers
cheers,
away

We left
Brisbane 12 months ago and have now done over 25000km with our old Toyota and Camprite in tow mostly on dirt tracks. The trailer has literally done everything we have asked of her and has not missed a beat. We have spent most of this time in NP through SA and NT as
well as a trip to Gove.
The
kitchen is basic but works. The bed is more then comfortable and space inside is very decieving. There is plenty, most people say how surprised they are given the unit looks and is so compact.
We have two boys 5 & 6, have spent weeks in the rain, dust and dirt and would not swap the camprite for anything. A bit of dust in now getting in the front seal, but given the amount of dust we have travelled through it is hardly worth talking about and it doesn't effect any of the bedding.
Our only problem is the gross weight, we are right on the limit with what we currently carry and want to put an extra watertank on which will push us over. The new Camprites have a higher gross weight than ours which is a 2002 model. Maybe we will have to invest in one. They look very flash!
Good luck with the decision and Kimberleys. We may see you there.

Wayne, we owned a complete
campsite camper for a couple of years, took it across the ABH from
Coober Pedy &
home across the Simpson plus heaps of
corner country trips, never missed a beat & a fellow club member still has it all be it on a new, redesigned trailer after he flopped it on it's side, his fault not the trailers.
They should be at the super show at Rosehill when it comes around.
