Hi, I have just purchased a medion PNA315 Navagation System fromn Aldi. Does anyone know if and where I can get Navtex map updates for this unit. Please give me your suggestions.

does it have bush tracks? i saw they were only $395 and thought they could serve as a good hack unit to take from car to car.

I tried to find some information ,all i found was Aldi is a German based store , I have never heard of these medion PNA315 Navagation Systems, I don't want to sound critical of your decision to purchase one but I am a Garmin user and believe them to be far superior , but I also understand that not everyone can afford the more expensive units , but if your only using it locally then it should derve your purpose, as for updates I feel it would be best if you made enquiries at Aldi ,
On the other hand ...if you just bought it then why do you need an update ??? has it not got Australian maps on it

Hi Doug,
You haven't heard of this model because it only was released at Aldi this week.
I bought this unit for my daughter as she travels around the country side to dog shows etc. This may be all she needs. But it would be good if she could access map updates for the future.
I myself have the TomTom 910 as this is more to our requirements. But we didn't think that going to that expense for her was nessecery.

Is this a different one to the system that was on special a few months back? The previous system was also a Medion and a friend bought the last one from Aldi and it came with update instructions. I believe that you can download updates after paying the "update fee"...

Yes, this is a different model to the previous one sold at Aldi. Medion is the brand name from Aldi stores. Have you any further information regarding updates from your friend? May be you can ask him where he gets his updates from, and let me know. Ta
